Starting this season, Team Not For Sale athletes will choose one day to play for those enslaved every day. For that game, they will pledge their salary to our work around the world. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to find out when your favorite player is dedicating their game to freedom.

“Everybody deserves the right to say, ‘One day, I'm going to become. One day, I'm going to accomplish. One day, I'm going to play.’ Slavery kills that dream.”
Jeremy Affeldt, San Francisco Giants
“My wife and I pledge to Team Not For Sale to help bring awareness and financial support in hopes of aiding the rescue of those trapped by the plague of human trafficking.”
AJ Ellis, Los Angeles Dodgers
“Every professional athlete, or really anyone who has been successful in their own way, has something in common... that is the privilege to set a goal and achieve it. People in situations of slavery have no opportunity like this. Slavery steals this.”
George Bailey, Australian Cricketer

About Team NFS

In 2009, a movement was born. San Francisco Giants pitcher Jeremy Affeldt set out to do his part in creating a world where no one is for sale. One pledge after another, athletes began teaming up to take a stand against modern slavery. Team NFS athletes recognize that they are playing a sport they love for a living, and are dedicated to giving back to those who are exploited and forced to work without pay. From San Francisco to New York to Sydney, Australia, the power of sport is influencing one of the greatest movements of our time.
