Aini is Not For Sale

Aini grew up in a poor family in the Philippines. Putting food on the table was an ongoing struggle, and from a young age Aini felt the pressure to help support her family. Knowing her family’s troubles, a family friend offered to help Aini find work abroad. He knew someone who would hire her as a housekeeper in the Netherlands, an opportunity that Aini believed could remove her family from poverty forever.
