Not For Sale Soup Wins Two Design Awards
In February, Not For Sale launched a new brand identity, including a new logo that reflects the organization’s innovative methods of fighting human trafficking. The designers behind the new logo, Tosh Hall and Jessica Minn, not only headed up the pro bono rebranding initiative, but also designed the label for Not For Sale’s newest product; the Not For Sale Soup.
Today, Not For Sale is proud to announce that Tosh and Jessica have won awards in two of the most reputable package design competitions worldwide – The Dieliene Package Design Awards, and The Pentawards for their design of the Not For Sale brand and soup label.
Tosh and Jessica received 2nd place in the “Prepared Food” category in the Dieline Package Design Awards for their design of the Not For Sale Soup label – “This Soup is Not For Sale”. The Dieline Package Design Awards, launched in 2009, focuses on the art of consumer packaging, and winners are selected in 13 different categories by a panel of industry experts from around the world.
The international jury of the Pentawards ranks packaging designs based on the creative quality of the design. In the category “Brand Identity Programs,” Tosh and Jessica won the Silver Pentawards for the new brand identity they created for Not For Sale, including the Not For Sale soup label.
The organic, high-quality Not For Sale Soup has been uniquely developed in cooperation with the Smallest Soup Factory (The Kleinste Soep Fabriek) in the Netherlands. It comes in four different flavors – Pumpkin, Tomato, Mushroom, and Goulash – and a portion of the proceeds are donated to fund Not For Sale’s work around the world. The soup will soon be sold in grocery stores throughout Western Europe, and will hit the US shelves sometime next year.
Our warmest congratulations to Tosh and Jessica – we are so grateful for their hard work and support of Not For Sale. In combining their expertise and their passion Tosh and Jessica are the perfect example of how everyone can use their skills to fight for freedom.
