New Campaigns Coming From Not For Sale in 2012

Not For Sale is kicking off the New Year with a bang by launching two new campaigns to enable you to get more involved in the movement to re-abolish modern-day slavery.

In the coming days, the organization will reveal full details about an exciting new competition called “I Am An Abolitionist”. We want you to film and share your abolitionist story: how you first joined the movement and what you’re doing now to end modern-day slavery.

Not For Sale will post the video entries on our social networking sites to inspire other abolitionists in our network worldwide. Not For Sale will reveal details about this competition including voting and the exciting prizes when the competition is officially launched next week.

Meanwhile, we also have an exciting new campaign coming up for our music fans. Free2Rock will be re-launched with a very fresh approach next week.

The innovative campaign will see a different band, singer, or celebrity design a limited edition T-shirt every month to help us raise funds and take action to end slavery in our lifetime.

Made by vulnerable women in El Salvador, the Free2Rock T-shirts will do much more than simply raise awareness, as they will directly provide employment to these women, protecting them from falling into the traps of traffickers. Each Free2Rock tee will also raise funds for a specific Not For Sale program.

Each T-shirt will only be available through the Not For Sale Store for two weeks every month before it is archived.

Not For Sale hopes you will get involved and is looking forward to your participation in the anti-slavery movement in 2012.
