Free2Work Featured in 30 Ways in 30 Days
As holiday shopping reaches fever pitch, Not For Sale encourages people to download and use the Free2Work App 2.0 to help them select gifts that promote and protect worker’s rights.
Free2Work recently launched a new app for iPhone & Android with a barcode scanner, making it easier for you to make informed purchasing decisions, and specifically ones that do not involve child or forced labor.
The useful advocacy tool is the recipient of high profile support from the inspirational website, Take Part.
The app will be included in a newly launched holiday program “30 Ways in 30 Days”, created by the digital arm of Participant Media.
Each day Take Part is asking users to take action in a small, but meaningful way. The program acts as an action calendar, displaying tools for participants to utilize in order to take a different action every day.
On December 16, the program will ask users to download the Free2Work app onto their iPhone or Android devices.
Take Part is the digital arm of Participant Media, producer of the films An Inconvenient Truth, Food, Inc, Waiting for Superman, Angels in the Dust, The Help, and Syriana, to name but a few. The media they produce is aimed at compelling social change through powerful storytelling.
