A Personal Message from David Batstone

2010 has been a landmark year in the movement to end slavery. You — our supporters — have changed laws through your advocacy, received training through the Not For Sale Academy, mapped slavery in your own backyards, and helped law enforcement bring down trafficking rings overseas. You’ve held buy-cotts through Free2Work, gathered communities at Free2Walk, given kids freedom through Free2Play, and declared, “no one should be for sale” on Freedom Sunday. And the result? Freedom. For the men, women and children in the karaoke clubs of Cambodia, in the cotton fields of Uzbekistan, in the war-torn jungles of Uganda, and in the brothels of San Francisco. You are smart-activists changing the world. Thank you for answering the call, and thank you for taking action. Now I want to invite you to take another step: donate to bring freedom to the millions of people still trapped in modern-day slavery.

HONDURAS | We Did It!

ust off the Caribbean coast of Honduras lays an archipelago of islands home to an indigenous population – the Garifunas – who have been marginalized and exploited for years. A recent influx in tourism has caused a dramatic increase in the sex trafficking and continual exploitation of this community. Together, we are combating trafficking and exploitation on the front lines in Honduras.NOT FOR SALE has partnered to complete two Vocational Centers to prevent the trafficking of vulnerable women & youths from ever occurring.
