Thousands have arrived from across the globe. The country explodes with football fever. Crowds cheer. Flags wave. The excitement that has infiltrated South Africa is palpable.

But there is another element that infiltrates this global event. An underworld of modern slavery, spurred by the influx of travelers that are crowding the cities and burgeoning demand.

The World Cup has brought perpetrators of this crime to South Africa, and it’s time that we stop them from scoring.

We’re giving human trafficking the Red Card.

No team wants to receive the ultimate recognition of a sporting transgression. The red card. One player lets down the team and the crowd cringes at the thought of what will happen as the play continues.

Not For Sale | South Africa and our sponsor Manpower Inc. are using the same red card to draw attention to the ultimate offense against humanity, human trafficking. Our teammates at Not For Sale | South Africa are dressing as soccer players and referees. They’re handing out red cards in the stadiums, in the streets, in all of the popular areas… and they are declaring that no human being should be for sale.
