MI Vows to Prevent, Protect, and Prosecute!
On Wednesday, January 20, a package of five bills passed the Michigan House of Representatives aimed at stopping human trafficking in our state. The legislation defines various expressions of “trafficking,” clarifies penalties for those convicted of the crime, and addresses issues of restitution for survivors.
