Thank you to all of those who came out to support Not For Sale.
We are now able to support more than 1,000 survivors in 2014, thanks to you. We hope to see you again at next year's gala.
Today, human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, and more than 30 million people live in modern-day slavery. On October 5th, we united to give freedom to more than 1,000 women, children, and men in the year to come. Held at the stunning City View at Metreon, Not For Sale’s annual gala brought together international advocates to celebrate Not For Sale’s work and to empower the global movement to end slavery.

Overlooking the city lights of downtown San Francisco, the 2013 Not For Gala began with a cocktail reception, featuring an interactive installation depicting the realities of modern-day slavery. Guests were treated to a full-course dinner and performances by acclaimed artists who are advocates in the movement to end slavery. Speakers shared passionately on the issue of human trafficking and the work being done to combat it. Finally, a live auction was held by renowned auctioneer CK Swett, closing with a celebration of the impact that the night will make for survivors and at-risk communities around the world.

2013 Abolition Award
Each year, Not For Sale presents the Abolition Award to a key partner who has distinguished themselves in their support of the global movement to end slavery. This year, Not For Sale is pleased to announce its choice of Juniper Networks as the recipient of the 2013 Abolition Award, in honor of the company’s work to fight modern-day slavery using innovative approaches that leverage technology to empower survivors and at-risk communities.
Not For Sale
Not For Sale fights slavery using social enterprise creation, supply chain evaluation and aftercare aid around the globe. By offering aid to survivors and those at-risk to human trafficking, creating social enterprises that benefit vulnerable communities, and evaluating the use of forced labor in mainstream supply chains, Not For Sale works to make sure no one is for sale.
