The tragedy of trafficking is thousand of young girls and boys are sold into modern-day slavery. I would like to suggest a documentary "SOLD" by Mtv Exit, Sold provides a compelling look into this dark, inhuman, and exploitative world and shows how each one of us can help to prevent modern-day slavery. I have been a keeper of trees all my life, saving trees, but more interested now in saving young women. This project among the rain forest and dwellers of the rain forest looks very interesting. I am dismantling many aspects of my business, with set backs, but wonder if I can be of some type of training/trimming/planting/help as well as any thing else that I could be used in. Just how organized is the fight against human trafficking and sex trafficking in countries like Peru etc,. who are closer to 3rd world than they might like? Is this at all an issue or priority with local government officials and agencies?
