Free2Play is a platform where athletes, musicians, artists, poets, and performers of all kinds can help ensure that all children should have the same freedom to pursue their own passions as well.
By creatively transforming your skills into a platform to raise pledges and donations for Not For Sale, you help provide education and vocational training, for those affected by modern-day slavery. Use your passion to provide a voice for the voiceless! Help us build futures for victims of human trafficking and promote a world where all children can be free to play.
Three Steps to Freedom

Create your own
Free2Play Pledge
Players from around the MLB are joining with Not For Sale to use baseball in the fight against child slavery. Through the Free2Play app, you can join the fight in a new and fun way.
Give freedom to children around the world through the stats of your favorite baseball players. For example, you can pledge $1 every time Matt Holliday hits a home run, or you can give $5 for every game your favorite team wins. The players, stats, and donation amount are completely up to you.
Through education, sports, and music, Free2Play creates new futures for children who have been rescued from exploitation and slavery. Start playing today!

Custom Apparel
When hosting an event or fundraiser, one of the most effective ways to spread awareness and support is to design and sell apparel that is produced through Not For Sale. We have partnered with a clothing factory in El Salvador who provide training and employment to victims of human trafficking. Custom design the apparel to fit your needs – from athletic workout apparel, shirts for your band to sell at a show, or swag for your club or organization. For example:
- The Museum, an Atlanta-based band, designed their band merchandise to be made through Not For Sale, with a top-selling band shirt that reads “This Shirt Frees Slaves”, raising over $10,000 in sales.
- Paula Heron, a tri-athlete from KY, is competing in a 27-hour triathlon for the 27 million enslaved in June of 2011 where she is raising pledges/donations and is working to develop the first fair trade triathlon apparel through Not For Sale.
- Norcal Athletic League, in San Francisco, aims to raise awareness and support by transitioning their sports apparel to be made through Not For Sale.
3 Host
Invite others to take part in the movement by hosting an event intended to raise awareness and support that is centered around your talents and interests. While the issue of human trafficking and modern-day slavery can sometimes feel overwhelming, hosting creative and unique events that involve those in your community is a way to inspire hope. Connect your passion with helping fund Not For Sale’s initiatives at home and around the world.
- Free2Walk events are walk-a-thons that have been held in cities around the United States. Since 2009, Free2Walk has raised over $30,000. Host a Free2Walk in your community!
- “Buy Art Not People” was an art show hosted by a Chicago-based artist. The show raised awareness and took donations from attendees of the exhibit.
- Real Dance Productions, out of Los Angeles, hosted a competition of dance crews from different gyms in an event that included dance, music performance, and a silent auction that raised donations for Not For Sale in 2011.

Upcoming Events
- June 8, 2012: Free2Play Night at AT&T Park. The San Francisco Giant’s & Catholic Health Care West invite you to come out to the ballgame and support the work of Not For Sale.
HAVE FUN and BE CREATIVE! Anyone can say that kids are Free2Play! In Orange County, Rock Harbor Church and Sharkeez (a local cantina chain) came together with University Students to host a Free2Walk event. The walk went from the Huntington Beach Pier to the Newport Beach pier and raised $800!

The Free2Play Philosophy
Founded on the United Nations Rights of the Children, which guarantees each child the right to rest, leisure, and participation in play and recreational activities no matter what nationality, race, or economic level.
Play should be an inalienable right for all children because sports are a valuable part of childhood and staying active has been proven to foster profound effects on ones mental, physical, and emotional health.

Pitch in to Ensure that Everyone is Free2Play
Not For Sale’s international initiatives combine education and vocational training to ensure the ongoing rehabilitation and safety of those affected by human trafficking. Our projects incorporate physical recreation as part of the rehabilitation process for children and vocations training for the adults because we believe that every human being should be free to work and free to play,. As a result of ongoing donations, Not For Sale hosted a basketball clinic at our Thailand project two years in a row. Not For Sale’s Peru project has incorporated a Surfing Tribe for the children associated with the vocational center. By donating to Not For Sale, you are investing in creating futures for victims of human trafficking. Your generosity helps to ensure our continuing mission to develop and deploy innovative solutions that bring about real change with the goal to effectively end slavery in our lifetime.
