Mercy has long had a heart for the vulnerable and oppressed. She has been on several mission trips to Mexico where she has witnessed first hand the tragedies of injustice and poverty. Motivated by her belief in God’s compassionate heart for justice, she has since been actively engaged in the movement. In the summer of 2009, Mercy became a certified investigator of human trafficking through the Not For Sale Investigator Academy, shortly before taking on the role of regional director for part of Northern California.
